New York Athletic Club
The 2nd annual “USA-Europe Shared Services Summit & Awards” will be held on 20th June, 2018, at the members-only New York Athletic Club in New York City.
We expect nearly 180 guests with more than 50 being American firms expanding their existing business services centres or setting up new centres in central Europe. The evening Awards Gala will be preceded by a daytime Summit of discussion panels covering the Shared Services and outsourcing sector in CEE.
The organizer is CEE Business Media, which operates the European Shared Services Association (www.EuropeanBusinessServices.com), organizes the annual CEE Shared Services Awards (6th year) in Poland, publishes the annual CEE Shared Services Directory.
Jury Members in 2017 included US-based Global Directors with operations in Eastern Central Europe, including: StateStreet, Cisco, Citi, NASDAQ, Johnson&Johnson, BrownBrothersHarriman, MorganStanley, Mylan, etc. Here you can see the Jury from 2017: http://www.sharedserviceseurope.com/vip-jury.html)

Who will attend: Despite more than 400 global corporations (and more than 150 US corporates) already operating SSCs in Central Eastern Europe, the region continues to attract American companies attracted by substantial cost savings and world-class talent. Indeed 50% of the total investment in the SSC sector in CEE is from American companies. We believe that the CEE region is a compelling proposition for US “mid-market” firms not yet present in the region.
The Summit and Awards Gala is a very efficient way for US “mid-market” firms to explore the possibilities and meet a large number of existing American companies active in the CEE region.
In addition to a 40-strong Jury composed of global SSC directors of US firms already present in CEE, our guests are a font of knowledge about the SSC sector in CEE. In addition to these top SSC execs, we expect more than 25 US “mid-market” firms who are in early or advanced stages of exploring the possibilities of expanding in the CEE region. More than 10 cities from across central Europe (typically Investor Services Directors) will also be present.
